Directions from Courtyard Marriott to Diamonds at Lakefront Park West

Destination: Philip Murray Drive, Oshawa. 45 mins

• From the host hotel, take Wood or Alexander Street to Yonge Street. (Church St will be closed to vehicle traffic for most of the weekend.)

• Turn right, and take Yonge Street NORTH to Bloor St. (180 m)

• Turn RIGHT onto Bloor Street. Follow Bloor (2.5 km) to the Don Valley (DVP) ramp NORTH (it is right after you cross the bridge/viaduct. Stay to the right). Watch your speed going over the viaduct, as the cops love using this area for speed traps!

• Take DVP North to 401 EAST (12.3 km)

• Take 401 EAST to Stevenson Road, Exit 415 (39.5 km)

• Turn right, and take Stevenson Road SOUTH to Phillip Murray Avenue. (2.2 km)

• Turn RIGHT onto Phillip Murray Avenue. You'll turn LEFT into the Lakefront West Park complex. (500 m)

Directions from Lakefront Park to Courtyard Marriott

Destination: 475 Yonge St, Toronto. 45 mins

• Turn right, and take Phillip Murray Ave toward Stevenson Rd S (400 m)

• Turn left, and take Stevenson Rd S northbound to Hwy 401 W (2.4 km)

• Merge onto Hwy 401 W to Toronto (39.9 km)

• Take the ON-404/Don Valley Parkway exit toward Downtown/Centre-Ville. At the fork and merge onto Don Valley Pkwy (DVP) SOUTH (11.5 km)

• Proceed along the ramp to the Bloor St exit (900 m)

• Take the Bloor St exit and proceed up the hill to Castle Frank Rd (550 m)

• Turn left, take Castle Frank Rd to Bloor St (86 m)

• Turn right, take Bloor St E westbound to Parliament St. (280 m)

Road Restrictions around the Courtyard Marriott

Access to the Marriot will be affected by the Parades on the weekend. The streets around the Courtyard Marriott will be closed to traffic from about 2:00 to 4:00 on Saturday afternoon, and again on Sunday probably from noon to 6 pm. If you are staying at the Courtyard and are parking a car. Please check with the hotel when you arrive, and if your travel plans confict with this, make alternate parking arrangements.

Also, if you are travelling to the fields on Saturday morning, and leaving the hotel between 9:45 and 10:45, make note of the alternate directions to the highway. Road closures for the Pride 5k Run will be blocking the standard route.
