2010 CGSL Membership Information
Welcome to the Cabbagetown Group Softball League's 35th season!Whether you're here to play competitively or to meet new people - the CGSL is the place for you. As a volunteer run organization, we are committed to providing you a great experience - social events, fundraisers, fair play, instruction, opportunities for improvement, an elaborate awards banquet, opportunities to play in tournaments across North America and a safe and fun environment.

General Information:
Who are we?The CGSL has over 300 members who are gay, lesbian and straight that join together to play softball in an atmosphere free from discrimination as to skill, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. To learn more about our history, click here.
When do we play?
Play only on Friday nights and Saturday's (No long weekend games) May through August with playoffs in September.
Where do we play?
In past we have played at McCleary Park, Coronation Park or Riverdale Park Red clay diamonds with night lights Umpires for all games (ASA umpires) Play by ASA and NASA rules
New Players:
All new players get rated and placed on teams that match their own skill level.
Put a team together and receive free team fee admission.
New Players between the ages of 18-29 pay only $99!.
Registration Dates & Locations:
We will be having 4 registrations where you can meet some of the other teams and Managers and find out more about playing with the CGSL.
March 6th (Sat) 2-6pm - Woody's
March 20th (Sat) 2-6pm - Churchmouse and Firkin
March 27th (Sat) 5-8pm - George's Play
April 11th (Sun) 2-6pm - Byzantium
Ratings Clinic(s) Sat Apr 17 at 9 am or Sun Apr 18 at 9 am - more information to follow
Membership Fees:
Players: $135.00
New Players: $99.00
Non-Players: $50.00
Team Fee: $400.00 (payable in 2 installments (if desired) 1st by March 15, 2010, second and final by March 31, 2010)
